About the role

We are seeking a Market Outreach Specialist to join our team in the Northeastern Wisconsin Territory. This role involves developing awareness and adoption of energy efficient technologies, strategic market development, customer satisfaction, and delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and energy savings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.
  • Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base.
  • Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.
  • Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.
  • Work to serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction.
  • Work in cooperation with other energy efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow-up on leads.
  • Lead research of the markets; accumulate data on businesses, and identify key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.
  • Build a base of registered Trade Allies specific to the specified programs.
  • Identify improvement barriers and report information to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operations.
  • Prepare robust weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress towards program goals.

Requirements

You must be based in the Appleton, Green Bay, Wausau, WI area. You should have:

  • 2-4 years of relative industry experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Skills

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience in energy efficiency programs.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors and trade allies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
