Market Outreach Specialist

About the role

CLEAResult is seeking a Market Outreach Specialist to support the delivery and expansion of DSM programs for energy utility clients. Key responsibilities include developing outreach strategies, building relationships, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach tactics to recruit LMI customers and community support organizations
• Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base
• Integrate program offerings into customer operations
• Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events, presentations, and community engagements
• Serve as a liaison between customers and field teams
• Research target markets and identify key partners and allies
• Identify participation barriers and provide recommendations
• Support the overall program portfolio
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Prepare activity reports and track progress
• Collaborate across internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• 3–5 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, program coordination, or a related role
• Experience planning and executing events, presentations, or community-based initiatives
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• An analytical mindset with market research and data interpretation skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in energy efficiency, utilities, or customer-facing programs is a plus
