About the role
This role supports CLEAResult's New Jersey Energy Efficiency Program team. Key responsibilities include building utility program awareness, engaging with leads, presenting energy efficiency options, and driving program growth through community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage with new leads through in-person events, calls, emails, and social channels.
- Passionately present energy efficiency program options to potential participants and trade allies.
- Maintain and expand a network of HVAC distributor and supply chain houses within a defined utility client’s service territory.
- Recruit, train, educate, and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage participation in energy efficiency programs.
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads and drive program growth through community engagement by delivering informative and persuasive program presentations.
- Identify and engage community groups and strategic partners, such as community green teams, contractors, distributors, and various agencies (HOAs, faith-based organizations etc).
- Perform event planning, coordination, and presentations of programs at relevant events and tradeshows.
- Travel extensively across utility client’s service territory for events and networking opportunities.
- Ensure operational excellence by communicating critical information to program management to improve recruitment and participation volumes.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports and track progress toward program recruitment goals.
- Deliver results on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI goals.
Requirements
- 2-4 Years’ experience with customer management.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Mileage reimbursement and cell phone allowance provided.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook/Word/Teams/PPT).
- Strong communication skills, including technical communication for trade allies and presentation / storytelling skills for all audiences.
Qualifications
- Preferred – BPI certification, HVAC experience, or other mechanical subject matter expertise.

Pay
$72,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.

DOT Requirements

Compensation Range
$61,100.00 - $78,000.00
