About the role

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a dedicated New Service Seller to join their team. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for calling on new and existing customers to promote and sell their full range of fire protection products, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

  • Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.
  • Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
  • Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
  • Closely meet assigned sales goals.
  • Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
  • Cook up with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for fire protection and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Service Trade Software Platform.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience in selling fire protection products and services.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and codes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.

Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
