New Service Seller

About the role

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a dedicated New Service Seller to join their team. As a New Service Seller, you will be responsible for calling on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell the company's full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Closely meet assigned sales goals.
• Manage quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A passion for fire protection and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales or customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

Desired skills include:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of fire protection and safety systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

Earnings range from $75,000 to $140,000, depending on performance and qualifications.
