Neurointerventional and Functional Neurosurgeon
Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic’s Department of Neurosurgery, led by Bernard R. Bendok, M.D., is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in neurointerventional and functional neurosurgery.
The ideal candidate has expertise with primary and metastatic brain tumors and spinal and cranial neuromodulation. They must have strong clinical skills and a demonstrated track record of academic success in research and medical education. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
Neurosurgery faculty are actively engaged in education of medical students, residents, and headache medicine fellows. Opportunities for clinical and translational research are available and encouraged across Mayo Clinic sites.
