Key Responsibilities
- Clinical diagnosis and treatment of complex neurosurgical conditions, including brain, spine, and endovascular pathologies.
- Performance of surgical procedures such as spinal decompressions, fusions, tumor resections, and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
- Development of individualized care plans, including nonsurgical management where appropriate.
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physician assistants, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintenance of accurate medical records, documentation of procedures, and adherence to clinical protocols and practice standards.
- Patient education, explaining procedures, treatment options, and postoperative care.
- Participation in clinical research and continuous professional development aligned with practice goals.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurosurgery residency.
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (spine, cranial, or endovascular) preferred.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based care.
