Neurosurgeon
About the role
Join a well-established neuroscience program within a Level I Trauma Center, working collaboratively with neurosurgery, neurology, critical care, emergency medicine, and other key specialties.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Work with four dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) aligned with the neurosurgery service.
- Access an in-hospital outpatient clinic for seamless patient care and convenient on-call access.

Requirements
- Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois or eligible to obtain an Illinois license.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Qualifications
- Experienced Neurosurgeon preferred.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned with the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.

- Full time, clinical base salary pay range: $565,155-956,000
- Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
