NA Strategic Account Mgr II
About the role
This position is responsible for managing, planning, and implementing a block of existing accounts to meet specified targets and service accounts to expand the business and meet corporate and divisional sales/renewal objectives. You will work closely with the assigned major/national strategic account executive as the primary project manager to develop tactical plans and execute the account strategy. The role involves working on moderate to highly complex national group accounts, acting as the point of contact for client issues, coordinating client meetings, and providing training.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and implement a block of existing accounts to meet targets.
- Service accounts to expand business and meet sales/renewal objectives.
- Collaborate with major/national strategic account executives to develop and execute tactical plans.
- Act as the point of contact for client issues and coordinate client meetings.
- Provide training and lead teams on tasks or projects.
- Present in front of small audiences.
- Utilize project management skills, including workflow and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales, or Healthcare field OR 7 years of experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales, or Healthcare field.
- State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license or ability to obtain it within the required time frame per state regulations.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration, or Finance.
- Knowledge of HCSC products, services, and processes, including rating and funding.
- Familiarity with HCSC systems (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.).
- Knowledge of competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory changes.

Pay
Annual salary range: $66,400.00 – $99,600.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role includes eligibility for an annual incentive bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
