Responsibilities
- Project management
- Sub-consultant coordination
- Project/task scheduling
- Civil Design
- Plan production oversight
- Preparing cost estimates
- Quality Control
- Training other engineers
- Client relationship building
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri and Kansas, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
- Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD)
- Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on Kansas City Metro and/or Missouri municipal clients
- 3D Design experience
- Utility Relocation Coordination Experience
