Multi-State Payroll Specialist

A growing construction organization in Portland, OR is seeking a Multi-State Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. The Multi-State Payroll Specialist will support payroll operations for residential and commercial construction teams, helping ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience. Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for employees across construction operations.
• Review timekeeping data, payroll changes, deductions, earnings, and adjustments for accuracy.
• Support payroll compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.
• Partner with accounting, HR, field operations, and management to resolve payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, and process improvements as needed.

Pay

Salary range: $57,000.00 to $63,000.00 per year.
