About the role

Payroll Specialists are responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and processing employee payments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing including direct deposits and tax withholdings
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Process employee payments accurately and on time
  • Handle inquiries from employees regarding their paystubs and benefits
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
