About the role
Payroll Specialists are responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and processing employee payments.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing including direct deposits and tax withholdings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Process employee payments accurately and on time
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding their paystubs and benefits
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
