Principal Accountability
- Aid in smooth and efficient donor flow
- Determine donor acceptability
- Perform sterile venipuncture for blood collection
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures
- Oversee and assign responsibilities/duties to collections staff
- Participate in staff processes such as interviews, discipline, performance reviews, hiring, and terminations
- Solve personnel and donor problems effectively and discreetly
- Address procedural or behavioral problems
- Make verbal or written reports to management
- Attend and/or complete annual leadership/development training resources
- Mentor and assist with on-the-job development of new hire employees and subordinate staff
- Participate in special projects or programs
