Duties
- Cook up daily coverage for assigned donation centers, scatter sites, and mobile units based on donation volume and staffing.
- Assign tasks and priorities at the start of and throughout the shift to keep operations moving efficiently.
- Monitor donation handling, sorting, and staging to ensure accuracy and adherence to Goodwill procedures.
- Identify and correct unsafe practices or conditions immediately; report incidents and near-misses as required.
- Reinforce donor service standards with staff, including professionalism, responsiveness, and pace of service.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to reinforce performance standards and correct issues.
- Identify recurring issues or improvement opportunities in daily operations and share suggestions with retail/donation leadership.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma AND 2 years Experience OR Associates degree And 1 year experience OR Bachelors and 1 year experience.
- Required Education & Experience: Leading a team in a retail, production, or service environment; Assigning tasks, managing workflows, or running a shift.
- Preferred Experience: Handling customer concerns or escalation; Coaching or supporting employee performance.
