About the role

This job manages the daily operational and client service functions of a Securitas Mobile Services operation, including patrol, inspection, shared guarding and/or response. It supports line management in achieving short- and long-term objectives for profitable revenue growth and client retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a patrol, inspection, shared guarding and/or response operation, including supervision of subordinate officers and any supervisory staff;
  • Evaluates service quality and initiates corrective action in a timely manner as necessary;
  • Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures;
  • Authorizes appropriate expenditures including equipment, supplies, and vehicles;
  • Ensures adequate inventory of uniforms, radios, etc.;
  • Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules with line management;
  • Reviews reports to ensure that commitments have been met and client directions have been followed.

Requirements

  • Valid drivers license;
  • Driving record meeting Securitas Safe Driving guidelines;
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Lead Officer;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English;
  • Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in a field related to the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

  • Understanding of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection or response services;
  • Use of personal computer and spreadsheet software;
  • Planning, organizing and leadership skills;
  • Oral and written communications skills;
  • Strong customer service and service delivery orientation;
  • Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures;
  • Ability to be an effective leader and member of project teams;
  • Ability to take initiative and achieve results.
