About the role
You will design, build, and maintain the core mobile experience across both iOS and Android applications, ensuring highly responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineering teams to build modular, offline-first mobile applications that handle complex data synchronization and heavy client-side state.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) or modern cross-platform frameworks like Flutter.
- Profile and optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and battery consumption to guarantee a seamless 60fps user experience.
- Implement robust offline-first synchronization strategies using SQLite, Room, or CoreData alongside RESTful and WebSocket-based backend services.
- Integrate native hardware capabilities and platform-specific APIs including location services, push notifications, and secure hardware enclaves.
- Maintain automated testing pipelines including unit, integration, and UI automation tests to ensure regression-free releases to the App Store and Google Play.
- Participate in technical architecture planning, API contract design, and thorough peer code reviews to maintain high codebase standards.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional mobile engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping production-grade applications to the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Deep technical mastery of native mobile development stacks: Swift/SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android.
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or MVI) and reactive programming concepts.
- Experience optimizing mobile network latency, local caching strategies, and asynchronous multi-threaded programming.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Skills
- Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter/React Native).
- Bonus: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise).
- Bonus: Experience with mobile analytics and monitoring tools (Crashlytics, Datadog).
