About the role

The role owns the end-to-end development of native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, focusing on high-performance architecture, offline capabilities, and fluid user experiences. The engineering team builds core product features, optimizes application rendering performance, and ensures seamless API integration for millions of daily active users.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build native mobile applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java, adhering to platform-specific UI/UX guidelines
  • Architect reusable mobile components, state management systems, and networking layers to ensure app stability and maintainability
  • Optimize application performance by profiling memory usage, reducing render times, and minimizing battery consumption
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with robust caching mechanisms for reliable offline-first functionality
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using XCTest, Espresso, and JUnit to maintain high test coverage across releases
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define feature scopes and technical requirements

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on native iOS or Android development
  • Deep expertise in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, with at least two production apps shipped to the App Store or Google Play
  • Solid understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile using Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or Fastlane
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Skills

Bonus: Cross-platform experience with React Native or Flutter, and contributions to open-source mobile libraries
