Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role

The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance native mobile applications on either the iOS or Android platform. This engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineering teams to deliver responsive, intuitive, and highly functional mobile experiences. The team focuses on creating robust offline capabilities, optimizing rendering performance, and implementing complex user interfaces. This position requires a deep technical understanding of mobile architectures and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native mobile applications using Swift/Objective-C (iOS) or Kotlin/Java (Android) to deliver features with high performance and visual polish
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate efficient, type-safe REST or GraphQL APIs optimized for mobile network conditions
• Implement local storage and offline-first data synchronization strategies using technologies like Room, CoreData, or SQLite
• Profile and optimize application performance, focusing on startup time, memory footprints, UI rendering frame rates, and battery usage
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI automation tests to maintain high code quality and prevent regressions in production release cycles
• Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and architectural planning to ensure the codebase remains scalable and modular

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of professional experience in native mobile application development for either iOS or Android platforms
• Deep proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK, or Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Solid understanding of core mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or VIPER, along with reactive programming concepts
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile, including automated testing, fastlane, and app store deployment processes (App Store Connect or Google Play Console)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter), modern declarative UI frameworks (SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose), or WebRTC/streaming technologies
