About The Role
The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience for millions of active users. The team focuses on building intuitive user-facing features, optimizing app performance and rendering pipelines, and establishing robust local data synchronization architectures. This engineer will work closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineering teams to define APIs and deliver polished mobile interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy production-ready features using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) within a modular native codebase
- Optimize application performance, memory footprint, and network payload consumption to ensure smooth rendering and low-latency interactions
- Architect local storage, caching, and data synchronization strategies using technologies like SQLite, Room, CoreData, or Realm
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design robust, type-safe REST and GraphQL APIs optimized for mobile network conditions
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI automation tests to maintain high quality standards across various device models and OS versions
- Monitor app stability and crash reporting pipelines using tools like Firebase Crashlytics to proactively identify and resolve production issues
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in native mobile development (iOS, Android, or both)
- Deep technical proficiency in Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin, Jetpack Compose for Android
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture
- Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines for mobile applications, including App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Fastlane
- Strong grasp of concurrency, memory management, multithreading, and networking in mobile environments
- Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, familiarity with Bluetooth/BLE APIs, or contribution to open-source mobile libraries
