About The Role
The role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience for millions of active users. The engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineering teams to translate complex feature requirements into robust, modular, and highly responsive mobile codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native mobile applications using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, adhering to platform-specific architectural best practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections efficiently to ensure real-time data synchronization and optimal offline capabilities
- Profile and optimize rendering performance, memory usage, network traffic, and battery consumption across a diverse range of mobile devices
- Write comprehensive unit tests and UI automation tests to guarantee application stability and prevent regressions in production
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments, managing beta distribution channels (TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution) and app store release processes
- Collaborate with product designers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces, custom animations, and highly accessible UI components
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in native mobile application development
- Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI for iOS, or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android
- Proven experience shipping and maintaining at least one high-scale application currently available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Deep understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or MVI) and reactive programming concepts
- Solid grasp of local storage mechanisms (CoreData, Room, SQLite), multi-threading, and memory management
- Bonus: Dual-platform proficiency (both iOS and Android), experience with GraphQL, or familiarity with mobile security best practices
