Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage Projects
- Serve as a project manager on select projects in the Mission Critical Sector.
- Project types include newbuilds, renovations, fit-outs and infrastructure upgrades.
- Client facing role, RFP site visits and proposal writing is expected.
- PM duties include planning, execution and day-to-day management of internal teams and clients.
- Provide all management functions including scope responsibilities, client management, scheduling, and financials.
- Vet company processes and provide input.
- Assist project managers across all locations of the enterprise.
- Develop a core group of assistant project managers eventually capable of performing independently on similar project types.
Qualifications
- At least ten years of experience in engineering consulting or adjacent field (construction, owner’s representative, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant field from a 4-year accredited university.
- PE license preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and the latest technologies for MEP systems design of Mission Critical Facilities.
