Mid-Senior Systems Engineer
About the role
TriVector Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the Mid-Senior Systems Engineer position. This role supports various Systems Engineering & Integration Organizations at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering and technical integration support to NASA Programs including Human Landing System, Space Launch System, Gateway, EVA and Human Surface Mobility, Surface Habitats, Commercial Crew, and Commercial Low Earth Orbit Development.
- Implement the systems engineering "V" model.
- Lead technical teams in planning, execution, and on-time completion of design analysis cycles and trade studies.
- Manage requirements or interface definitions.
- Plan and execute test campaigns, including hardware qualification and acceptance testing.
- Review spaceflight hardware verification documentation.
- Use software proficiency in Doors Next Generation (DNG), MagicDraw, Jira, Cameo, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Show problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Present data to Senior Program Managers.
Requirements
- US Citizen.
- STEM Degree.
- At least 15 years of applicable experience.
- Experience with implementing the systems engineering "V" model.
- Technical integration and leadership across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience managing requirements or interface definitions.
- Experience with test campaign planning and execution.
- Experience reviewing spaceflight hardware verification documentation.
- Proficiency in Doors Next Generation (DNG), MagicDraw, Jira, Cameo, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to present data to Senior Program Managers.
Qualifications
- Experience with Spaceflight Hardware.
- Experience implementing systems engineering principles in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
- Experience analyzing and documenting system of system behaviors.
- Able to provide SE&I expertise and integration support through digital engineering, MBSE, functional decomposition, mission model, concept of operations, requirements definition and traceability, verification and validation, physical architecture integration, integration and discipline experts, T&V and integrated design certification.
- Experience working with international partners and/or commercial providers.
