Mid-Level Corporate Associate (Los Angeles)

About the role

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, an Am Law 50 firm, seeks a Corporate Associate to join the Downtown Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have focused primarily on M&A transactions during their career and will have significant hands-on experience executing deals in this area at a law firm with a national reputation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients on complex M&A transactions
• Execute deals from start to finish
• Draft substantive transactional documents
• Run a deal team
• Take ownership of projects

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience at a top national law firm working on mergers and acquisitions
• Admitted to the California State Bar or preparing to obtain admission
• Strong academic background from a top-tier law school
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills required

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000.
