Mid-Level Corporate Associate

About the role

ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate in our Chicago office (preferred) or in our New York, DC, Boston, LA, or San Francisco office to join the 4th through 6th year associate class for its Corporate & Securities practice group. The ideal candidate should have experience with private offerings and fund formations, including the formation and operation of a variety of private investment funds and funds of funds, as well as drafting and negotiating private placement memoranda, subscription agreements, limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, side letters, investment management agreements, Form ADV, and related fund documentation. Experience on M&A teams is also preferred.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and writing skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Desire to excel in a large law firm environment
• Licensed and in good standing in the state where you wish to practice (or prepared to sit for and pass the bar exam)

Pay

The good faith base salary range for this position is $245,000 to $340,000 per year. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and overall qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus program with opportunities for discretionary incentives that may include productivity, business development, and merit-based components.
