Corporate Mid-Level Associate

About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a full-time Associate in the Corporate Practice of our Las Vegas office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients, large and small, from various industries across the country.
• Participate in complex M&A and private equity transactions, including drafting acquisition agreements and other related documents.
• Manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.
• Show strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of maturity.
• Have a strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and other documentation used in complex M&A and private equity transactions.
• Be proficient in drafting such agreements.

Requirements

• Three to six years of significant experience in corporate transactions, with an emphasis on public and private M&A, venture capital, and angel investments.
• Admission to the Nevada Bar.

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials.
• Proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload.
• Excellent writing skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting acquisition agreements and other complex M&A and private equity transaction documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maturity and ability to handle a demanding workload.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
