About the role

The MEP Project Manager will oversee the design, engineering, and construction of multiple infrastructure-related projects on fully occupied campuses. Responsibilities include shut-downs, tie-ins, and quality control, interacting with various stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of design, engineering, and construction of infrastructure projects
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, and quality of work
  • Running weekly OAC meetings and follow-up activities
  • Interacting with multiple stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle
  • Overseeing, supervising, or mentoring team members
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering timely feedback and recognition
  • Presenting technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Extensive MEP related experience and familiarity with applicable building codes, central plant operations, and construction means and methods
  • Experience working on similar projects within the educational, institutional, and life science environment
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience

Qualifications

  • LEED AP, CPD, or PE certifications preferred but not required

  • Extensive MEP related experience

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present technical material in traditional and innovative ways
