About the role
The MEP Project Manager will oversee the design, engineering, and construction of multiple infrastructure-related projects on fully occupied campuses. Responsibilities include shut-downs, tie-ins, and quality control, interacting with various stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of design, engineering, and construction of infrastructure projects
- Managing project budgets, schedules, and quality of work
- Running weekly OAC meetings and follow-up activities
- Interacting with multiple stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle
- Overseeing, supervising, or mentoring team members
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering timely feedback and recognition
- Presenting technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Extensive MEP related experience and familiarity with applicable building codes, central plant operations, and construction means and methods
- Experience working on similar projects within the educational, institutional, and life science environment
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience
Qualifications
- LEED AP, CPD, or PE certifications preferred but not required
