MEP Engineering - Project Manager

Qualifications

A licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) with a minimum of 10 years of MEP Engineering experience, including at least 6 years in project management.

Experience supervising employees is required.

Must have a demonstrated history of successful business development.

Responsibilities

• Execute MEP based projects to BL’s expectations for quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Plan, coordinate, communicate, and facilitate the completion of tasks across multiple disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion.
• Coordinate with external clients and subconsultants.
• Participate in business development and proposal process as well as contract negotiations.
• Monitor and report to department manager the status of projects, budgets, and work backlog.
• Manage a team of multiple staff including designers and/or engineers, providing mentorship and ensuring billable targets are met.
• Recruit, develop and retain staff in support of the company's strategic growth plan.

Requirements

This position can be based in any of the following BL locations: Meriden, Hartford, Charlotte, or Wilmington.
