About the role

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to crisis calls and delivering mobile crisis intervention
  • Conducting risk assessments and determining appropriate interventions
  • Providing brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
  • Meeting clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or community locations
  • Responding to suicide or emergency calls and gathering relevant information
  • Connecting clients to community resources and maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Documenting client interactions in compliance with regulations
  • Identifying service gaps and recommending improvements
  • Staying informed on laws, procedures, and best practices related to crisis services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
  • Minimum one year of experience working with mental health clients (preferred)
  • Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, and 55)
  • Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and build effective relationships with diverse populations
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour
