About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Medical Specialist II - Ophthalmology-Seattle, WA to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote field-based role will focus on building trusted relationships with ophthalmology specialists and driving growth within an assigned territory. The position combines clinical expertise, account management, and commercial execution to support product adoption and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will partner closely with healthcare providers, reimbursement stakeholders, and internal teams to strengthen territory performance and navigate a complex specialty-care environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with retina specialists and other customer accounts
- Grow revenue and meet product goals in the assigned territory
- Provide technical and clinical product knowledge and support
- Utilize marketing and operations resources effectively
- Enhance productivity and ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; science or business preferred; master's degree is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of specialty sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Experience with biologics and buy-and-bill products
- Strong sales performance history
- Knowledge of reimbursement programs and contract negotiation
- Ophthalmology experience, particularly in retina, preferred
- Proximity to Seattle, WA, and ability to travel 40%–60%

Pay
$162,000 – $220,800 annually
