Medical Receptionist- Spanish/English

Join our caring community as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. In this onsite role, you will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration, ensuring every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service; background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered.
• Experience conveying information and maintaining a positive tone during calls.
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization.
• Experience improving patient care and experience.
• This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; TB screening is required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Value-based care model experience.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with ERM Athena.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Pay

• Starting base pay range: $38,000 - $45,800 per year (full-time, 40 hours per week).
• Pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.).
• Eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
