Medical Receptionist - Gain Health Centre

We are seeking an enthusiastic Casual Receptionist for our modern, medium-sized General Practice in Upper Hutt. This vacancy is to cover our reception staff while on leave.

About the role

Gain Health Centre's mission is to provide an excellent standard of health care in a welcoming, safe, and caring environment. We offer a multi-disciplinary team environment, working alongside GPs, a nurse practitioner, nurse prescriber, extended care paramedic, nurses, a prescribing pharmacist, Primary Care Practice Assistance, and a supportive administrative team. You will enjoy stimulating and interesting work with patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-desk reception and administrative support in a healthcare setting
• Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person with an excellent phone manner
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural awareness
• Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and driven administrator
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Honest, confidential, and friendly demeanor
• Commitment to patient health and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
• Medtech 32/Evolution experience (preferred)
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
