Responsibilities

- Performs medical assistant clinical functions such as phlebotomy and HIV/STD testing.
- Carries out administrative duties including processing patient referrals and verifying insurance coverage.

- Promotes adaptability and collaboration with other AHF employees and departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent training.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.
