About the role

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services in clients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as instructed.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities tailored to individual interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or psychosocial conditions.
• Follow the Plan of Care strictly, without medication administration.
• Utilize equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and complete tasks via EVV app or time sheets.
• Ensure patient confidentiality, report concerns, and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Physical capability to lift and perform tasks involving bending and standing.
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care.

This role requires travel within a specified area, with no guaranteed hours or assignment length. The CNA must be dependable and adaptable to varied client environments.
