About the role
Certified Nurse Assistant providing home care services in clients' residences, primarily on Saturdays for 3-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Preparing meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests.
- Performing light housekeeping duties and maintaining accurate records of care provided.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
- Completing tasks via EVV app and adhering to the care plan, with a focus on patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Supporting client independence within their capabilities and collaborating as part of a healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills and physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care.
Additional Requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, and adaptable to various client environments.
- Travel within the designated area is required.
- The role involves physical demands, including lifting approximately 50 lbs.
