Med-Surg RN – Long Term Assignment (Nights)

Join a health system's Central Staffing Office as a Regional Float Medical-Surgical RN supporting multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care on acute Med/Surg units based on nursing expertise and licensure.
• Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Using evidence-based practices to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to ensure holistic, culturally sensitive care.
• Mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
• Applying leadership skills and advocating for patients’ needs.
• Utilizing effective communication and promoting professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri with ability to obtain Illinois license.
• Willingness to travel between facilities.
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new teams.
• Degrees: ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
