Med Surg RN (Full-Time, Nights)

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and communicating effectively across care teams. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
