Med Surg Nurse - Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care in a Medical Surgical Unit
• Possibly floating to additional units or locations as needed
• Ensuring compliance with vaccinations and licensing requirements
• Completing pre-employment modules and maintaining necessary certifications

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 24 months of role experience, with recent hospital and acute care experience
• Alabama or compact nursing license required
• Preferred experience with Cerner and long-term care
• Valid driver’s license
• Two recent references
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Details

Minimum 12 continuous months of unit experience. Maximum of 7 days off allowed. Travel-only role; local candidates ineligible. Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. COVID and flu vaccinations required post-submission (declinations accepted). Shifts are night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
