About the role
Experienced nurse for travel assignment, providing patient care in medical-surgical units with potential floating to other units and locations.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care, adhere to hospital protocols, and maintain compliance with vaccination and certification requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 24 months of recent hospital experience, including 12 months in medical-surgical units, with acute care experience
- Proficiency in Cerner is preferred
- Must hold an Alabama or compact license, with valid BLS certification
- Driver’s license required
Key Duties
- Work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Apply only for preferred shifts
- Submit references and health documents for onboarding
Requirements
- Up to 7 days off allowed, with no multiple applications for the same unit
- Eligible candidates must reside >50 miles from the facility and meet vaccination mandates
- 12-month gap from specific programs is required
- Possible pre-employment modules
Preferred Experience
Long-term care experience is preferred.
