About the role

Bella Vista is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Passer to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment. As a Med Passer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.

This position includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time NOC shift employees, paid on your 30th and 60th days.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents in the Memory Care Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
• Document responses from therapeutic activities and record medical metrics such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory function, and weight.
• Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support.
• Assist, encourage, and provide restorative interventions for Memory Care residents to promote independence in daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
• Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and perform basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
• Adhere to and champion the Embrace Memory Care philosophy.
• Document daily according to memory care policies, procedures, and state regulations, including communication of resident concerns or changes in condition.
• Ensure SLC policy and procedure are followed to maintain a safe work environment, including accident prevention, equipment preservation, and staff training on safe practices.
• Address resident, family, and employee concerns in a timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
