Eden Vista Green Bay is part of Vista Senior Living Management, a network of 16 communities specializing in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living services. Our mission is to provide outstanding care rooted in compassion and dedication to seniors' well-being. Located at 289 E. St. Joseph St., Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301, Eden Vista consists of two facilities: The Village of Eden Vista (an RCAC with 50 units) and The Court of Eden Vista (a 69-bed memory care facility specializing in dementia care).
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Passer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, caring, and consistent companionship and support to residents.
- Assist, encourage, and provide restorative interventions for Memory Care residents to promote independence in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities.
- Serve residents during mealtime, assist with memory care laundry, and perform basic housekeeping within the memory care neighborhood.
- Adhere to and champion the Embrace Memory Care philosophy.
- Document daily according to memory care policies, procedures, and state regulations, including communication of resident concerns, changes in condition, or related topics.
- Ensure SLC policy and procedure are followed to maintain a safe work environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and staff training on safe working practices.
- Address resident, family, and employee concerns in a timely manner to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in long-term care or Assisted Living.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to handle everyday challenges with a positive attitude.
