Patient Transporter (per diem)

About the role

As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for transporting patients within the hospital setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients between floors, rooms, and medical areas within the hospital.
• Assisting patients with their needs during transport.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during transportation.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience with hospital equipment and supplies.
• Proficient in using hospital communication systems.
