Med Care Manager

About the Role

Responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents with accuracy, safety, and dignity. This role requires attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to resident safety, playing a vital part in enhancing residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts and maintain organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.
