About the Role
Administer medications and treatments to residents with accuracy and dignity, ensuring compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
- Monitor residents during and after medication passes
- Report concerns and complete narcotic counts
- Maintain medication carts and follow safety standards
- Observe residents for health changes and prevent medication errors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Medication Administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Qualifications
Preferred experience in senior care.
