About the role
Administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications per physician orders
- Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
- Monitor residents during and after medication passes
- Observe and report health changes or medication refusals
- Complete narcotic counts and maintain medication carts and rooms
- Follow infection control and safety standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medication administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Senior care experience preferred
