Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble of gearboxes, installing, aligning, adjusting, and fitting subassemblies.
• Experience working with large, heavy manufacturing equipment with the ability to run overhead crane and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• This is a 2nd shift position and reports to the department supervisor while working in a team orientated setting.
• Assembly and disassembly of all parts associated with paper machine rolls.
• Installing Water cooling systems, cleaning, painting, box construction and repair.
• Operate carpentry tools, saws, presses, drills, forklifts, lifting devices, etc. with above average skill.
• Maintain a safe and clean working area is a must.
• All work must be accomplished within quality and time/cost standard requirements established by the order and the company.

Requirements

• A high school education with previous manufacturing experience; ideally a minimum of three to five years’ experience.
• Knowledge of papermaking machinery a plus, but not required.
• Willing to work with and train candidates with a high level of initiative and personal motivation.
