About the role
The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge is seeking a highly motivated Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of all golf course and grounds maintenance equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, and related assets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the entire equipment fleet.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance schedules, and equipment inventories.
- Cooky warranty repairs and work with equipment vendors and service providers.
- Manage parts inventory and procurement to ensure adequate stock levels while controlling costs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment maintenance facility.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulations.
- Assist in equipment replacement planning and capital budget recommendations.
- Train, coach, and support staff on proper equipment operation and care.
- Perform reel grinding, bedknife maintenance, and cutting unit setup to ensure optimal turf quality and playing conditions.
- Work closely with the Superintendent and assistant superintendents to ensure equipment readiness aligns with daily operational priorities.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on communication, accountability, and mutual respect.
- Participate in emergency repairs and operational support during tournaments and special events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining golf course, turf, agricultural, or similar equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication.
- Demonstrated experience with reel grinding, bedknife maintenance, and cutting unit setup.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player, coach, and collaborative partner.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Preferred
- Associate degree or technical certification in equipment technology, mechanics, or a related field.
- Experience working at a golf course, country club, sports complex, or similar facility.
- Familiarity with a predominantly Toro turf equipment fleet and John Deere golf carts.
- Experience using reel and bedknife grinding equipment.
- Strong understanding of turf maintenance equipment performance standards.

Compensation & Benefits
$50–$55 per hour, (up to $115K/year) depending on qualifications and experience.
