Mechanic

Job Summary

The Mechanic position at Croell, Inc. in La Crosse, WI involves performing a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles. This is a full-time position requiring overtime through peak season, reports to the Territory Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles, including light-duty, heavy-duty, and Redi-Mix trucks, backhoes, loaders, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Repair tires, wheels, wheel bearings, idler wheels, idler bearings, and oil seals.
• Replace suspension arms, torsion bars, stabilizer bars, etc.
• Repair hydraulic and air brake systems.
• Determine the nature and extent of repairs needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems.
• Ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.

Pay

\$30 - \$34/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule

Full-time with overtime.
