Responsibilities
- Independently perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Repair and replace worn equipment parts.
- Inspect machines, heavy equipment, and diagnose defects.
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
- 1+ years of mechanical experience working on construction machinery.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Has some basic hand tools.
Working Conditions
- Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten hours per day.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Able to work on the jobsite where the equipment is used.
