Material Expeditor

This is an onsite position supporting TSC’s Airborne and ISR Solutions Division, reporting to the Procurement Manager at TSC’s Raeford, NC location.

About the role

The ideal candidate is a collaborator who will proactively support the Supply Chain team in a timely manner, work fast under pressure, understand and enhance supply chain processes, assemble data, identify problems, and provide recommendations that support program planning and operations. Critical to the job, the candidate supports the timely delivery and flow of materials throughout our supply chain, ensuring efficient production and on-time project completion.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Procurement, Programs, Production, and Logistics Teams to resolve supply chain issues.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and expedite shipments when necessary.
• Assist in coordinating alternate sources or materials in case of shortages or disruptions.
• Identify and escalate potential delays that could impact production or delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, lead times, deliveries, and material statuses in ERP or tracking tools.
• Support RMA customer returns as required/needed.
• Coordinate the internal flow of material into production or to the end user.
• Other team support functions as needed.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or expediting role or equivalent years of military, education, and experience.
• Experience in the aviation industry.
• US Citizenship.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• AA/AS in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance or 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance or 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Costpoint.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
