About the Role

Little Heroes Home is a group home treatment setting for latency-aged clients that specializes in trauma informed care. Little Heroes provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. We provide training in cutting-edge treatment models, such as the ARC framework, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) and Neurofeedback Therapy. We offer ongoing monthly professional development through SMART and Family Therapy consultation. Clinical supervision is provided within a multidisciplinary team and we will help you obtain licensure if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop skills in providing treatment and comprehensive assessments for our students through individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Develop innovative and individualized treatment plans to support our students as they work toward reaching their clinical and treatment goals.
  • Manage a caseload of students to help them discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more.
  • Support students in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
  • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW) or able to sit for clinical licensure required.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations.

Skills

  • Ability to work with trauma-informed care principles.
  • Experience with cutting-edge treatment models such as the ARC framework, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), and Neurofeedback Therapy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.

Schedule

Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
